The map download provider for ET Manager has had a slight change of URL. The ET-Stuff website can now be found at : www. EnemyTerritory-Stuff.net. ET Manager has been updated to use this new address which should allow you to download again.

ET-Stuff has accepted to take over et-maps.de for the CB's map downloads. So make sure to visit their website and say hello
There's one little problem with maps that aren't on the ET-Stuff server's. They won't be downloaded from the CB's FTP like they used to so you'll have to get them manually in game. Hopefully there won't be too many.

Well, as you may have noticed, et-maps.de is down for good. This is where the etManager was pulling its maps from when updating the rotation. A new source has been found, and an update is (I think? ) in the works that should resolve the issue. In the meantime, just grab your files the old fashioned way from the Bucket's news post on the recent rotation change.

The new RCon module is finally released for ETM. It's not part of the normal interface so use the "runme.rcon.bat".

So the RCon has 3 parts: The center part which looks and works like a regular console, the right part which automaticly queries the player list from the server and finally the bottom part with a list of all the available commands with a short description.

Note that with some commands that requires a slot number or a guid you can select the player in the player list to automatically combine it into the command. Also there's a handy command history if you press the up or down button in the console part. Finally there are 3 ETM specific commands which are : "clr" to clear the console, "dump" to dump the console to a file and "connect" to connect to a new server.

Finally an update with new features in it. From now on you'll be able to check who's on Team Speak from within ETM. You'll also be able to look for your demos in the Pk3 Explorer and then launch them with the Quick-Launch dialog. Note that you don't have to worry about which mod to open since it takes care of that for you.

There's also a bunch of bug that have been squashed here and there to make your ETM experience more pleasant.

The venom (No Quarter) will now be parsed correctly and I updated the default IP for the bucket to match the new server. Since the patch is so small and mainly affects new users I decided not to place it in the update tab so if you really want the patch, download it from the website.

On a side note, Java 6 was recently released and ETM seems to work fine with it except for the Oyoaha look and feel which will simply crash ETM. I didn't notice any significant performance boost but maybe some of you will so here's the link (you're looking for the JRE).


EDIT : I changed my mind, the patch will now be available in the update tab. As an added bonus, the Updater.jar will now update you're old CB Ip for you.

The stats parser now supports the No Quarter mod for ET. If you don't know what that is check it out here.

etmaps.de recently went through some changes and broke the maps download in ETM. I just fixed it and everything should be working ok again.
